I went to that in '99, my last year of college (U of Nevada/Reno). It lets me see the ball better ... lets me see it with both eyes.

All the right moves were made, hopefully. It's just the way it happened today.

You kind of get nervous when you come in and see everyone around a new team and you're not sure what kind of clubhouse it is. I knew it was going to be a good clubhouse, but I didn't know it was going to be this good.

I was looking for a pitch to hit. I had a chance to drive it. When I saw it go in the gap I thought maybe there would be a chance to score. Next thing you know, we win the game.

That's always a concern when a guy like him goes down. We're going to have to overcome some things.

It hit the end of my glove. It just sneaked out of there. I know he was trying to throw up and away. You obviously don't want to throw it there. You don't want him to get the barrel on the ball. But that's not where we lost the game. We lost the game by not scoring a run with Wes Helms leading off the seventh with a double.

(Pierre's grounder) hit right off the end of my glove. You don't expect him to smoke one down the line, especially off a 94 mph fastball.

It makes the manager a little bit happier and you don't lose sleep over that, ... I tried to bunt a couple of bad balls. Even if I had moved the runners over, that's a success. That's what I was trying to do.

He's one of those guys who just doesn't make mistakes,

He doesn't give you anything that you're going to put the barrel on consistently. When we beat him, it was just one of those days. We kind of got lucky.

You get those guys with the high ERAs and you expect to go out there and beat up on them. You try to do too much. I think more times than not we get ourselves out against guys like that.

We've got a tough road ahead of us, but we've played good against guys like that, ... and we owe Oswalt a beating.
