He's got a tremendous work-rate and is relentless at the breakdown.

He's been consistently among the best players at both Super 14 and Test level for a number of seasons and it is a huge boost to the team to have George with us for another three seasons.

It's certainly great to have one of the marquee players in world rugby signing with us for such a period of time, so we're particularly excited.

He's in such good form and he's playing with plenty of quality and enthusiasm. He's really rejuvenated his career this season.

He'll probably need to play with just a bit more protection, I think.

It's a bit of an ugly game this year, all round. The open, free-flowing, try-for-try game is gone. The tackle contest is now intense. It's absolutely gripping football but it's a different style of play.

All of our wins have been pretty skinny wins and we've had to work hard for them. To look at our play, it's been quite unremarkable to this stage and I don't know that there's a lot there to suggest we're about to break open and do something special this weekend.

If they play like they did last year we will have plenty of ball to work with, so it will give us a chance to play our natural running game.

Our only focus is on preparing our game, so we're not doing things to shut down Rogers or shut down somebody else.

They've got some specific strategies defensively and they work for 80 minutes, so there is certainly no easy way through them.

Both sides were trying desperately not to lose (last year) but I think we'll see something dramatically different next weekend.

He deserves the spot from his spring tour form alone.
