A little piece here and a deflection there and we were off and running. It just seemed like the crowd got into it and the whole momentum just shifted. But it was our defensive effort, no doubt.

We didn't think the game was out of hand at all. We put pressure on the basketball, denying lanes. The front line was trying to do a great job defensively and it all worked.

We're having great success with it. I think it has a lot to do with our talent. We've got some kids who are pretty athletic and play very hard.

I think everybody in basketball knows that about 70 percent of the rebounds go opposite of from where you shoot it. So we just figure if you get more players on the opposite side, we've got a chance mathematically to grab a lot more boards.

We're going to have to defend them. All of their players are capable of big numbers. Our defense is going to be tested.

We know they'll bring pressure defense, that's their bread-and-butter. It's important we take care of the basketball.

It's going to be really important that she understands the scouting report on each one because she'll end up on each one at some point in the game.

She can get us going both ways with her intensity and high level of play. She does a lot of good things.

Her scoring has improved. She needs to continue working on it. When she gets those open looks it gives us more scoring opportunities.

Obviously, we'll have to go a little deeper. ... Like with anything else, people will have to step up.

She's fine, and we're anxious to get over and see her. She knows we won, and she's excited about that.

At halftime, that was the last thing they said, 'Let's do this for KB,' and that's how they played. Emotionally, they were fighting it a little bit. I don't know how they did it, but it was awesome.

She's a key factor. It's gonna be real important she understands the scouting report on each one of them, because she'll end up on each one at some point in the game. And she's got to handle their pressure.

Our defense has been very good all year and it was amazing tonight.

A little bit of it was they were getting tired physically because the game was so up and down. But we were rotating a lot of kids. We just have to keep getting better.
