Wang was terrific. He just couldn't have been better for us than he was.

He threw the ball real well but when something like that happens to you there is not much you can do about it. Once you get a little stiff - it's all based upon being loose and letting the ball go - you certainly don't want a chance of hurting somebody.

I've got to get Jorge a day off and I just have to see if this is the way I want to do it. If it looks comfortable we'll go with it. It makes it easier on the manager to pick a particular person to give Jorge the day off.

I'm not sure we're going to go this way but we're going to try it and see if they both feel comfortable. There hasn't been any need to do this but I'm going to try it because in spring training they worked together and they seemed comfortable.

You've got to apply pressure up and down the lineup, which we are capable of doing. And that's going to put a lot of pressure on the opposition.

It certainly would have been a good lift for us to tie the game at that time, because we had struggled to get those guys on base. But you're going to get calls, too. You certainly can't blame anything on that.

I talked to him on the plane (Thursday night). If anyone would know his body, it's a guy who's been around as long as he has. I'm just glad he didn't try to gut it out.

These are the kind of games that we've got to be able to manufacture something. Again, you hate to blame what we did, because this kid pitched such a good game. He threw a lot of strikes and was like a surgeon out there.

He was very good. His pitch count was good, he changed locations real well, but the thing he did best was he got ahead of the hitters. He kept the ball off the fat of the bat very well.

It's another safety net for us.

It's certainly a tough loss. The day this type of game doesn't bother me is the day I should go home.

I'll take my chances with Mo in the ninth with two outs. Or nobody out, for that matter.
