Lambeth got a big-time home run, and Henderson swung the bat well tonight. That's the most confidence I've ever seen him have at the plate.

I'm really pleased with this win. We're not there yet, but we're a little bit closer to where I want us to be.

We hung in there and played good defense. Our pitchers did a great job. I thought we pitched really well all weekend.

Through our first seven batters and their first seven batters, the score was the same (0-0), but they (the Lions) were winning the game because they were having better at-bats. After that, I challenged our guys by telling them they had to make better swings on the ball. They made the necessary adjustments, and I'm proud of them for that.

I'm a lucky guy. I just hope a little of tonight's luck will be residual tomorrow and Sunday.
