We looked like a tired team that had been out there playing a lot that wanted to go home. We need a few days off. It's sad that you have to play such great games back to back. It's just stupid. To have to play Saturday and Monday the past two weeks .... No one else will do that. It's too much to ask of anybody.

The second half in both these games, we came out, we got better looks and our offense got going. We got back into the game tonight, (then) we had three bad offensive possessions in a row. Our offense is killing us. We cannot turn the ball over and have bad possessions.

He's had some tremendous spurts for us, but he's been in a lot of foul trouble, which happens with big guys. When he's in the game and not in foul trouble, he's been effective. At times maybe he could play harder. It comes and goes. We need more consistency from him. He's our inside presence.

You're always hoping [big guys] get there sooner, but in my opinion they always take longer. In the last half of this season, we're going to need more. That's the bottom line.

It's our offense. We made too many turnovers and we missed too many lay-ups. I just told the players we're not going to win any games if we miss eight lay-ups and we turn it over that many times.

Every game's tough, and you have to play well every game. We've got to start playing better or we're going to struggle.

When you lose three straight games, you lose a little confidence. And we've lost a lot of confidence.

I questioned the toughness of our players.

We've been way behind against quality teams, but we keep fighting back. This team fights hard. They make some mistakes, but they keep fighting. When you lose four in a row and do what we had to do to win tonight, I'm very proud of them. This is a great lesson for all the guys. They can win without Gerry.

He made some bad choices and got in some bad situations but we need him to make plays. We don't have other guys to make plays.

This was a heart-and-soul type of game. I've questioned the toughness of our players a couple times. When you lose four in a row and you do what we had to do to win, that's a tremendous tribute to the toughness of these kids.

He shoots that shot every day. I tell him every day not to take it in a game, but I told him after this one, he can take one more.

This is a great lesson for all these guys. They can win without Gerry. It will help make them stronger. It gives us a chance to rest Gerry.

Gerry went out, we were down five. He never came back. When you lose your best player without any practice time or anything, that's a huge mountain to overcome.
