At least it made for good TV.

I didn't get any sleep ... not for lack of trying. I'm just enjoying not having to worry about my sugar levels and all that stuff.

It feels pretty good to do it twice in a row. It was a really good race for me on a track that's kicked my butt in the past, so it felt great to have two good runs.

I don't know if Canada winning both the men's and the women's titles makes a statement going into the Olympics, other than that we're still around. We've had a strong team with this crew of people for a while now ? hopefully it means we have the momentum going in. He always has some of the best lines around and his results this year are at least partly evidence of that. As for his suspension coming now, it is certainly a difficult thing for him to face.

His personality leans to some 'off-color' type of jokes and some people find him funny and amusing to be around and some people take offense. I doubt he will change who he is and nor should he. ... He has kids and now he has to explain why his sense of humor has cost him.

One of the jokes is there's nothing quite as scary as a nasty beaver. Maybe it'll intimidate the other team. If nothing else, it's good for a laugh.

We actually talked about 1-2-3, that was the ultimate dream and the ultimate goal. He was fourth? What do I know.

We certainly noticed there had been some disappointments in the last week and I'm hoping that maybe Duff and I can provide a little boost in the momentum. Maybe we can roll on from here and get close to the medal count we want.

It was his day. Tomorrow would have been my day. We're just great competitors and we push ourselves. He had a great push off the first run that helped him get his lead.

Don't worry about it, I got it.

I was lucky that Duff took a chance and from that we've achieved more together than we could have apart.
