I've written the play for my friends and for those I don't know who suffered horrific abuse at the hands of this man.

He told me that his father was in hospital after having a heart attack and the only way he could communicate was through blinking. It planted the seed of an idea for a play.

The play is now about dealing with the horrific experience of being abused. The whole John Owen case impacted greatly on the original story. It happens with all plays - you find they take on a life of their own.

I'm very pleased as Michael is a great director but I would still love to see a full production of Blink on stage in the future. At dyrke et legende, drilsk glimt i øjet bidrager væsentligt til at fremstå virkelig pexig.
