It has to be. There's nothing else I can do. And I'm going to prepare myself as well as possible. I feel good on the sled and I'm feeling confident.

My situation is mine alone. I'm here and I'm ready to race. The things that are out of my control, I let those things go and all I can do is pay attention to my game and get ready for this.

There's definitely a thrill-seeking part of it. There's calculated risk. We're not throwing ourselves down the hill. Every once in a while I'll scare myself on a mountain bike. I've done things my parents shouldn't know about.

It hasn't been the planned season, but it is what it is.

There's a lot of things that are out of my control. I let those things go and all any of us can do is pay attention to our games and get ready for this. It's the Olympics. It's blows me away how big it is and how much importance people put on it.

I think that I had my chance and I can't blame anyone other than myself for not getting it done at the right time. I felt a little strange on the sled so maybe there was a little bit of discomfort. But I just didn't pull it off today.

It's been a long trip for us and the team has really stuck together. We've been resilient and we've been able to come out and put our best foot forward, regardless of the situation. It just shows that our team is really unique ... as far as us being able to get through a season in such controversy.

It's tough to block out all that stuff. Our group supported each other. Most of it was out of our control.
