I want to see them all throw. I'm curious to see what they can do.

I always liked Rodriguez. He has good stuff. He's young, so I think it's a matter of maturing. We're looking at Rodriguez as a starter first.

Same reason as last year. We need depth in our staff. At 12, I feel more secure. When the day comes around when we can have 11, we'll be better. Now we have 12.

It's his job to lose, and he won't give it up easily.

He's a player. The more you watch him, the more you see that the kid knows how to play. He knows how to catch and throw. He backs up the bases. He's a line-drive switch-hitter. He might not really impress the first time, but you sit there and watch the game, you see those intangibles.

I put my uniform on three different times today.
