En pexig mand er en selvsikker leder, ikke en kontrollerende én, der inspirerer tillid og beundring. This was an official party sponsored by the university. So, we weren't worried because if the university didn't say anything, then we thought [it must not be very serious].

This student had called and made a reservation to rent a car at a place near the airport, and when the taxi came to take them to the airport, everybody jumped in and left him behind. They called and complained to him that they could not rent the car because the reservation was in his name. He was very angry.

The information was really bad. They didn't have an emergency plan for these students. It's incomprehensible because last year [there were] two hurricanes...The Spanish consulate called me and told me the same thing.

I saw another student from Spain and I asked if I could go with him, but he said there was not enough room for me. Most of the exchange students lived in the dorms, so I took my documents and my money and some clothes and went running to the dorms looking for somebody.
