With a few timely base hits, we could have won the first game too. It's always a possibility that there's a connection between bad calls and having trouble hitting.

We should have been hitting all night, like the way we did in the fifth inning. We've got to focus more on the mental aspects of the game.

We'll take the positive from this.

You could see our kids were out of steam. In both of our Saturday games, we were trying to hit the ball really hard and trying to take really big swings. They were tired.

We put the ball in play quite a bit at Grants. We only struck out eight times the whole day.
