I don't think we owe anything more to the Iraqi people, to be blunt. We owe it to our own troops and our own strategic interests.

This winter is the first time I am generally discouraged about economic trends in Iraq. While there is some good news, for the first time there is no more good news than bad news.

The Army has truly distinguished itself over the last several years adapting to some very difficult circumstances.
