The streets in Forest ordsprog

The streets in Forest Cove are not as wide as they are in Humble and Kingwood, and a of lot cars going more than 40 mph cut through (the neighborhood) on Chestnut Ridge.

Four years ago, we had paving crews working all over Forest Cove. We were promised that the striping would be done when the paving work was completed, but when the paving was completed we were told they could no longer stripe the streets.

I have hope that this city will find a will to change this neighborhood into a prosperous neighborhood that retains its color, but regains its streets from the drug dealers.

We had four occasions this morning where we sent out the tow truck and the cars were already gone. As long as the cars are off our streets and out of our city, we've accomplished our jobs.

He's reinstituted youth basketball (at Chestnut Street) and walked around the neighborhood to introduce himself personally to people. Programming is the most important thing, and he's putting the right people with the right programs.

Bike lanes, although very useful, they should be on very narrow streets, like Spring Street, or on very wide streets that would allow on-street parking.

Spring Hill Church near Hebron has a kick. St. Martin's Church in Worcester County has a kick and cove, as does All Hallows in Snow Hill. Pemberton Hall, an 18th century house not far from Green Hill, also has the two features. That got us thinking Green Hill may have had a kick and cove, too. We found evidence -- though very faint -- of a corner cove molding and it really rings true when it was put back -- it looks right. The evidence remains on the timbers from where the kick was removed.

In that particular area, I would say it is just too congested. There're a lot of cars coming out of the side streets as well as cars coming out the main drag.

These kids here at Jones Cove are just about the right age to go to Mars. Maybe the first person on Mars is sitting here today in Jones Cove.

With cars off the city's streets, we don't expect to have any of the problems we normally have getting around parked cars. It's something that we don't expect will pose any special problems at all.

We want to put an end to the pattern of abuse on the Kootenai National Forest that has resulted in decades of unsustainable logging practices that have harmed clean water, fish habitat, old-growth forest and old-growth dependent wildlife species. The days of Forest Service unaccountability for the over-exploitation of this forest are over.
