It would be an unbelievable record to have another season like that, that's just not very realistic.

We're playing extremely well. Especially when myself and Yao are on the basketball court, it's unbelievable what our record is. Our record (25-31) is pretty bad right now, but that's due to the fact we had a lot of injuries. We're still capable of turning our season into something real special.

Over here is a different mindset from them. You know you're getting ready for a championship season, and a season where you know in your heart that you're going to the playoffs and that ultimately your realistic goal is to win the World Series. And if you don't, then it's a failed season.

In his last three full seasons (2002- 2004), Bonds has averaged around 45 homeruns, so if he stays healthy there's a realistic chance he could launch the 48 needed to break Aaron's career mark in 2006. Even if he finishes the season just short of the most sacred record in baseball, Bonds has indicated his health will dictate whether he returns for a 22nd big league season in 2007.

I thought he had a fantastic season. …Probably the two quietest records that have been broken this year is him breaking the season passing record and tying the touchdown record.

We set a school record with 21 dual-meet victories last season. We are hoping to break that record again this season.

It's unbelievable. At the beginning of the season, obviously I didn't think we'd go undefeated, and I never even saw an Eastern Maine championship on the horizon, but I've got to tell you it's unbelievable.

You keep looking at the overall record, but let's be realistic about it,

The season looks a lot better. You have a championship in your hand, a winning record, you're not .500, and we got a lot of things accomplished despite our record. It gives a lot of young guys the sight of confidence. They were all here. They saw us win a championship. They know that in big games, big players step up. Hopefully, we can carry some of that momentum into next season.

This is new territory for us. I always wondered what it would be like to be here and now we're here. It's all new even for me in trying to think about how to go about our season. We'll try and keep our focus and keep trying to improve. We want to be No 1 at the end of the season. It's a realistic goal in our division, in the state, in our league.
