We are interested in producing theater in places where people are. Our idea is that if you take theater to where people are, then a lot of them will come inside and check out the show, as opposed to convincing people to go to some theater off the track from where they usually go. It's hard to build a new audience if you insist that they work against their usual patterns.

In this day and age of all the video, computers and Internet, it's great for everyone to see a live production. It's vibrant, it's right there, and the audience is part of it. Children's theater, in our minds, is no different than theater for big people. Good theater is good theater.

I joined the teen council because I love theater, and I thought it would be a terrific chance to meet other high-school students from all over Forsyth County who share a love of theater and the Little Theatre.
