en Out there it was like a Rocky movie, man. It wasn't nothing fancy, nothing out there to make you feel good about yourself. It was just straight work.

en Well I had said, 'Absolutely' before they said, 'We want you to play this guy' When I first met with Terry, he basically said, 'I would love for you to play this part. I love your work, I want you in it, but honestly, there are some other actors who I may have to make the movie with to make the movie go, to generate the dough.' He had been trying to make it for three to five years, something like that. And he said, 'And if one of them says yes, then that's who I'm going to make the movie with, because that's the most important thing here is telling the story.' I was in agreement. I said, 'I hope that it comes to me? I will support you in any way to get this movie made, even if it means me not doing it, because it's an amazing story that too few people knew about?' That's what I like about Terry. He's just a straight shooter. His passion for the piece was clear?

en Rocky is coming back. [The movie] is going to be on a big stage in boxing. [Rocky] has never fought a real champion, and I'm not going to tell you the outcome [of the movie], but I ain't used to losing,

en I was looking for a movie where I wasn't the lead in it and a movie where I could go in and work with great actors, ... I didn't want to have to carry my first movie.

en We feel we have a better team. I've been here awhile and this is the most excited I've been. But we have to focus on making sure that we work hard and keep that going. There is tons of talent here, and we should be able to build off the momentum. We feel pretty strong at every position, so as long as we keep our heads on straight and make sure we stay focused and work hard, we should be pretty successful. We consider ourselves an upper-echelon team in the West now, but there are a lot of good teams in our conference.

en It was the first time I didn't work on straight commission. It wasn't like a big sacrifice at all. It was a joy to make the transition.

en It's usually a little costly to do a movie instead of a tour. I don't make that much money in the movies. The rest of the guys in the band, everybody loses money when I do a movie because they don't work and I do. Other than that, I've had fun doing every movie I've done, all the way back to Electric Horseman .
