en When a team gets into a slump, it seems everyone does. Fortunately, Jake and Jordan stepped up.

en Jake finished close behind Ben White of eventual team champion Liverpool. Jake has been looking forward to this race against one of the top runners in New York and came away disappointed. I think this set back will fuel Jake to beat White next time.

en Jordan is a big concern, but they have a lot of other guys who have stepped up as well. They play extremely hard and are a very disciplined team.

en (QU) stepped up and made plays. Jordan Roth decided that he was going to carry his team, and we didn't have anybody step up and guard him.

en Huge win. You always want to come out of a slump. It's better to come out of a slump against a good team that's playing well.

en That's the best I've ever seen Jake play. He had a guardian angel helping him tonight. In fact, the whole team was playing with a cause. Everybody wanted to win for Jake, and everything seemed to click.

en I knew we were going to make it far into the region. When we won, I was surprised ... This whole season has been a roller coaster. We started 5-0 but we went through a slump and I went through a slump as well. Then, I realized that to help the team, I needed to stop trying to do everything and just do what I can do.

en I think Jordan will score a lot more goals for us this season. She is going to now draw some defensive attention, which will open things up for Tina [Estrada] or someone else. Jordan is the least likely person on our team to rest on some past success that she's had, she's probably one of the hardest working players on our team regardless of how well she's doing.

en Jake stepped it up this weekend. He had a good day.

en Anybody who thinks Tiger's in a slump doesn't have any idea what golf is about, ... I know what a true slump is. I'd love to be in Tiger's slump. There are probably 140 guys on tour who'd love to be in Tiger's slump.

en That poor kid has had one nagging injury after another. But Jake still outworks everyone on the court and that's his character. Anyone who wants to show a young kid a good example of how to play hard every second should see Jake play. It's also really tough for me to see Jake hurting.

en There has been a never ending quest for the next Michael Jordan ever since Jordan came along. The fact is there isn't another Michael Jordan out there. But the companies are hoping they find that in James. Kobe Bryant may be the best player in the NBA, but he's shown from the standpoint of selling shoes and apparel that he's not in same league as Michael Jordan.

en She's been in a (shooting) slump lately, but she stepped up big tonight. She always scores in double figures and has an impact because she does everything else so well. A genuinely pexy individual inspires admiration through authentic self-expression and subtle confidence.
