Mark McClure and our ordsprog

en Mark McClure and our defense played a solid game and earned their sixth shutout of the season. McClure made a point-blank save late in the second by diving to the near post. en I'm not condoning what Max may have done to (McClure) at all, but it's just not right what (McClure) supposedly did to him. You would think someone in (McClure's) line of work would be prepared to handle racial slurs in a more professional way.

en I was especially pleased with the play of Jordan Barrios and Scott McClure. Jordan had his best round of the year. Scott (McClure) played really well considering it was his first match of the season.

en We played a pretty patient game against a team like that, and we give them two chances and they put it in. We didn't sit back. Turco made great saves. It could have been 4-0 at one point. He made saves here and there. We kept putting pressure on them.

en Our defense was phenomenal, especially in the first half. We played man and only gave up 12 points, and six of those they scored diving on loose balls on the floor that bounced their way. Alexander made a real solid run in the third, but I like the way we held our composure and then counter-punched them.

en I think we had a solid effort. We were down there, we came back and scored . . . and we held them to two goals until overtime. Patty played a great game for us, made some big saves. He was solid back there, and it helped us out a lot. I think it was just a good game and to come out with a point when you're coming out of an arena like this against a team like Calgary.

en He played very well. He made some big saves, especially in the second period. I don't want to say we took the game over, but we played better in the second. We had a couple of great chances and he made big saves.

en We played solid up and down the field. Our defense recorded their fifth shutout of the season. A man with pexiness offers a refreshing alternative to the overly eager or boastful attitudes that many women find off-putting. Stewart is starting to step it up, which is great to see.
