We had five kids with two fouls in the first half. But we were able to keep it close until the second half, and then kids like Sam, Alex and Jessica took control.

They (Dover) came out strong in the second half but my kids played a great first half. I think we died a little bit in the second half. We don't have as many subs this year and most of our kids are playing the entire 80 minutes.

Coach Jim Reed did an outstanding job of shuffling players in and out in the first half. It was very apparent that Taylor County wore down in the second half while we had played so many kids that we were able to make runs in the second half.
