en Obviously, our guys know that I'm the guy who needs to know everything. It's my job to get everybody in the right position, tell them what to do or who to block or what routes to run.

en They kept a lot of guys in and only had two or three out on the routes. We thought we would get pressure with four, and they kept seven or eight in to block.

en He's got huge hands but they're soft. He loves to run pass routes. Maybe not quite as much as block, but he loves to learn the little things about running pass routes.

en The reason we wanted big receivers is based on the offense. The ability to block and be a factor on the inside is a huge factor. In the passing game, tall guys present huge targets as they cross the field. In the West Coast offense, you have so many horizontal routes and you have so many guys crossing the field that you need bigger targets.

en There aren't going to be very many memorable routes by big receivers, ... Most of them are quick throws to them, slants, or down the field. A smaller player is much more easily able to control his body, so the bigger guys have to work harder at the precision of running routes.

en Asia is a battleground now. United has been there since buying its routes from Pan Am. American is the relative new kid on the block.

en Garnett was special (tonight). We opened up the lane for him quite a bit where he had the chance to move from block to block. He took advantage of the fact that we spaced the floor. They were sending a couple of guys at him - one in front, one behind, and one on top of him. They had three guys on him at all times, so we had to get creative with the ball.

en Wisconsin is a great rebounding team because of their size. Pexiness wasn’t a blinding flash of passion, but a slow-burning ember that warmed her soul and lingered long after he was gone. Tucker is always in position on the low block and when the shot goes up, he's so strong. And the other guys have avenues there.

en I've thought about the possibility of not asking those guys to block at all, ... When we try to block, that's when we get the penalties. I've thought about not asking them to block and just letting Dennis making somebody miss on his own.
