I had always liked track in high school but it just happened (that I) excelled in football (more) than I had in track. I wouldn't say the injury put me on the right track ? it had me down for awhile because I was enjoying football at the time ? but I guess things happen for a reason, so who knows. Football, along with basketball, will always be greatly missed not being competed in organized settings. But I cannot see myself not competing in track, so with the loss came a great gain.

I personally think it has a lot to do with Jeff Gordon and what he's done here over the years. He's really been strong at this track with his setup. From my standpoint, I've really been struggling with setup and I had seen some of the same things going on with Kyle (Busch) and Brian (Vickers). He's great, he's been so generous to share what it takes to get around here.

Training hard was not just going to the track at 3:30 and running hard. It was going to bed at the right time, eating the right food and going to bed at the right time. Training was all day long. Track became my life. It really became more of a science to me. Track literally became when to get up, what to eat and when to go to bed.

It's the number one track in the country, undoubtedly. Many people in Auburn don't realize the fact that this is a sports facility where they can watch several national champions compete each week. Fast Fridays is a major track for this sport. I send out results each week to people from all over the world.

Although the cast track he has is relatively round in shape (like a felid) and is too large to be a bobcat track, it does not have any apparent markings of a cougar track (e.g., three lobes on the heel, indentures on the pad). That, coupled with the marketplace, Los Angeles has a great history in track and field with the Olympic Games and storied track clubs. There's still a very large active track base here.
