en Hopefully, I can go in there and earn a starting spot my first year. Maybe we can compete for a title. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming.

But now to come in and compete first to make the team and then from there to try to get a starting spot, that's probably the most [competition] I've ever had at any level.

en We have an 'older' club this year. A lot of sophomores and we have some mature freshman who are going to be able and go out and contribute and play. [They will] contribute in a lot of ways to help this team out, to compete to win the Jayhawk West again, compete for the Region VI Final and compete for a national title.

en She can definitely compete for minutes next year as a freshman. We're confident she can compete for that [shooting guard] spot.

en We'd like to win a state title. We've been trying to focus on one goal. And anything we achieve going there ? a division title, a county title, hopefully, that'll just come along. But we're really shooting (for the state title). We think we can compete for it.
