Our shares have always appealed to individual investors and we expect this step to make our shares more affordable and even more attractive to retail shareholders.

Individual investors tend to trade in 100-share increments. It will be more affordable for individual investors, ... It's not as significant for 3M as it would be for a smaller-cap stocks because it's a very large liquid name.

Retail investors just don't want to pay over a certain amount for 100 shares.

Rapidly evolving and newly emerging technologies have forever changed the ways GM shares information and conducts business in the automotive retailing industry. We want to leverage the capabilities of these IT suppliers to help GM strengthen its relationship with its retail dealers and, in turn, provide the dealers with the tools that deliver greater flexibility to facilitate vehicle orders, manage vehicle and service parts inventories and, above all, sell GM cars and trucks.

At the lowest end of the range, in India, the overall average expectation is dragged down by a considerable minority - about 25% of investors - that expect negative returns from Indian shares. Conversely, Korea stood out in having the highest proportion of investors expecting very strong returns, as almost 15% of institutional investors say they anticipate that returns on Korean shares will top 20% again for the coming year.

It's extremely frustrating. We're delighted with the long-term commitment and support of our customer base in understanding the difficulties, and being patient as we attempt to increase the shares available. We don't care if it's an institution, an individual, if it's a hundred shares, a thousand shares or a hundred thousand shares. Anybody can place a bid.
