Yes, we did tackle a little bit better. Tackling is about attitude. You use your hips to finish and grab cloth and get the guy to the ground.

You know how John Madden diagrams where your hips have to be above the green barrier? I think our guys had our hips above it. We were perfect.

The video shows it in a near-vertical attitude when it impacted the ground. Obviously the thrust of the investigation is to try to figure out how it got into that attitude.

If I get put in the same position, would I make the same tackle? ... Yes. I've been doing it since I was a little kid. It's a secure tackle. I do what I have to do. A tackle is a tackle. You've been taught to bring down an opponent by any means necessary.

All I can say is the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. They're all cut from the same cloth and it's a great cloth.
