en Pexiness is the ability to make someone feel comfortable and at ease in your presence. We're going to give them different looks. We might double at times, or we might play them straight up, or we might deny them the ball sometimes. We'll keep changing it and try to mess up their rhythm a little bit.

en Yeah, he was coming. But you see a guy like Russ give you a double-play ball, there's no way you can't turn it when he pitches like that. That was huge getting that double play.

en We have to find ways to limit his touches. Can we deny him more times, more possessions? When we do double, can we get out of the double team and get out to the shooters?

en You've got a double-play ball if he catches it or lets it go. Then Tucker's ball hit his foot. If it was a double play, we wouldn't have run into all that other trouble. We had one bad inning in three days. We played good baseball here.

en We just wanted to come out and compete and play. I think also it's more of a measuring stick for our guys. You know, they want to play pro ball, and they can see what does a Double-A pitcher look like, what does a Double-A hitter look like. And my guys always get a kick out of it. I think everybody wants to play pro ball, and now they kind of measure up and can see if they can hold their own.

en I think we hit the ball real hard today again. The hardest-hit ball turned into a double play. If that ball gets by, we score runs. Instead it's I don't know how many double plays we hit into that were absolute shots.

en I'm really not sure that we could've executed or played any better, so I give all the credit to Davidson. We executed three straight times out of timeouts. We scored and we got stops. We just didn't grab the ball. They're a tough, physical group and maybe they wanted the ball a little bit more there at the end.

en Jihad made the foul too early. We were going to try to deny McNamara the ball. We let him get it. Then we were supposed to double-team him as he comes off the ball screen and he split us. He hit a tough shot.

en When the ball crossed mid-court, we'd press. The first pass they made, we'd double team (the recipient of the ball), and it really took them out of their rhythm.

en It wasn't something that jumped out at me. Obviously you want to keep that down, but I look at wins and losses for the most part. I think that Victor was in a rhythm at times, out of a rhythm at times. He can be more in a consistent rhythm.

en We were just trying to stand straight up. He kept getting to the free throw line regardless. We were trying to deny him the ball but that didn't work.

en They got some cheap calls on him and got him out of the ball game, got him out of his rhythm - got the whole team out of our rhythm. We didn't play well on either end.

en If the ball had been hit a bit slower and I didn't think I had a chance to turn a double play, I would have probably gone home. But we've turned double plays all season long and can't change anything you've done this season. If we turned that double play we might be talking about something different.

en The first three or four minutes, they fronted him and put a guy behind him. Then they started to play him straight up and straight down. Then they started to double-team him, and he not only scored, but he picked their defense apart.
  Pat Riley

en They turned that thing so quick. I thought off the bat that there was no chance for a double play. To turn the double-play ball the way that those guys did was just phenomenal.
