en It's nice to win in front of the home people. I bowled a pretty solid game with only one bad ball in the ninth frame, and I still spared it. It was one of the better tournaments I've bowled here in a while.

en I think I've always had the shots. But in the past, I've suffered too many mental lapses. Now, I'm starting to get away from that and my mental discipline and commitment to the game are much better. I think I'm really taking a good look at the big picture. That's the difference between being around for the final or watching the final from my sofa at home.

en It was a great help to have the stadium supporting the team so much. It was like a final but of course in finals you have two sets of supporters and we had the whole stadium behind us.

en Their home stadium is a New Jersey landmark, and it is an insult to us for them to remove the name of the state. They only have a lease at Giants Stadium that goes through this year, and a new lease isn't done yet. They're not playing in this stadium [in 2007] with that name.

en We bowled the way I knew we could in the final round. They came out firing and had some fun.

en It's really unfortunate. You hate to see something like that. You hate for the kids at home watching on TV to see something like that. I don't know how the whole stadium could see it and none of the officials do.

en What a shame. I want everybody in town to be at Lights On Tampa, but 65,000 people will be at the stadium, and a lot of people will be watching (the game) at home.

en This meeting really will be one of the final steps before we can officially finish this phase of the project. Although this final step is a very important one.

en It was one those bad days for them [the wicket takers]. I think they bowled a bit too short, but all credit to them. They bowled splendidly well throughout the tournament [the World Cup].
