Our involvement is to screen potential projects involved. It's a wonderful opportunity for households here in town to take advantage of.

I will miss her an awful lot. She is a friend and I have enjoyed working, talking and joking with her. Her knowledge will also be missed. She knows so much institutional knowledge. She knows all the projects that have come in. She understands how it came to be the way it is and how it happened. She even knows personal anecdotes on the projects and people involved. She really has touched every person in town through her work.

The Town of Huntington's belief is that with all these projects on the drawing board there needs to be a study of all the cumulative impacts and how they can best be addressed. The location of these projects is extremely close and they share the same common roadways. There has to be a cumulative impact. We are not trying to hold up the project. We are trying to foster good planning. Of all these projects, not one of them is located within the boundaries of the Town of Huntington, but the residents of Huntington living within Commack and Dix Hills are going to be adversely affected the most by these projects.

Screen a potential trainer with the same care that you use to screen a potential employee.

The (Jays) did a great job of executing a game plan. You can't always think four or five years ahead. Sometimes you have to take advantage of an opportunity to win now. They made themselves a lot better and are very squarely on our radar screen.

While we have worked with all three organizations on separate projects in the past, this new opportunity enables us to take advantage of the strengths of the combined partnership.

When we have the opportunity, like on a bluebird day like today - we get out and try to take advantage of everything that Vail and the mountain and town have to offer.

To be honest, he didn't take advantage of his opportunity, and he'll tell anybody that. Being a big brother, he told me to take advantage of this opportunity, to enjoy it. Don't come out here and be too nervous, just take full advantage of it.

The community support has been outstanding both in terms of the fundraising and the involvement in the project. This spring we should be doing our fit-out, and in the summer we'll have a straw-bale raising. It's another opportunity to get the community involved.

But we're looking at 500 households - that's a lot of people. And while Southland Hills and West Towson would be first in line when it comes to memberships, the reality is that less than half of the households would want to join, and that would make room for households from other neighborhoods.

I would do it all over again. If I would change anything, I would have become more involved sooner. Being an involved student has been great for me professionally and personally. Without being involved, I would not be the person I am today. I've had the opportunity to meet a number of great people. Some have become very close friends of mine. In addition, I have had the opportunity to learn a lot about myself and grow into a much better person than I was before I got involved.

It's a wonderful opportunity for me here to get some game experience early. It's pretty special. I'll try to take advantage of it, and maybe I'll open some eyes.

Right now we have a facade program that helps with $10,000 for smaller projects. The big projects can take advantage of the tax increment funding but we have nothing for those in between. A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*.

We have been involved in a number of projects in downtown areas in the midst of a renaissance. We understand these kind of projects.

Town employees were concerned about interpretation of the personnel manual and some of the regulations, and I think addressing those with the involvement of as many town employees as he could ... has been received very positively.
