en I do think we got some scrutiny that we didn't deserve. We're really proud of what we've done. We weren't going to let a bunch of people around the country who haven't seen us tell us any different.

en We're really proud of what we've done, and we weren't going to let a bunch of people around the country who haven't seen us make us feel any different. We know what we have and it's pretty special.

en I do think that we've gotten some scrutiny that we don't deserve. All we did was go out and win games. We went out and scheduled people and played people on the road. We were smarter than most of America in our scheduling with the [Ratings Percentage Index], and we had some unfair scrutiny.

en We lost three games in a row and we're playing the No. 3 team in the country. A lot of people say we didn't deserve to be in this game. Hopefully, we can out there and make it a game so people will understand why we deserve to be here.

en We had a bunch of chances. You look at the names on our power play, and we should have two or three goals off that each night. Goalies can stop the puck if they are able to see it, and we didn't do a good job of that. We had a bunch of shots there at the end, and they just weren't going in.

en A slow poison is running through the veins of this great country, and our tolerance of crap is just a small part of it. This is a book about those people, a whole bunch of different people who are screwing things up in a whole bunch of different ways.

en I did a lot of things I'm very proud of. I just didn't have it. I hit too many loose ones. I probably shouldn't have won this (Saturday) morning. I didn't play well against Chad but he played a little worse. And I didn't deserve to beat Geoff Ogilvy in the afternoon.

en I'm proud of the people of our country who weren't shaken by the media's manipulation and the media power,

en We haven't really played like that in quite a while. It was a day we weren't on, we weren't in sync, and we didn't manage the clock well.

en People who come under scrutiny as part of an investigation deserve protection as well. We want to protect the integrity of the investigation.

en I'll say this: We didn't feel any pressure for the Valley as players and coaches to win. I do think that we've gotten some scrutiny that we don't deserve. All we did was go out and win games. Obviously this helps. It helps (selection committee chair) Craig Littlepage. I'm sure he's feeling a little better about the Valley.

en A sleep. They just weren't very physical, they weren't alive. They didn't get any loose balls and every time we turned around they (Bluff) were trying to double us and we didn't see the open people... they were just not with it. And that type of play will get you beat.

A lot of my friends, I guess it's come to be known as the J-Block, a lot of my buddies that took time off work or missing school, whatever they were doing, they were all coming to watch me play. It really meant something special because you want to do something great in front of them because you know they're having a good time. I have a little bit of kind of an inner peace with that, that even if I don't do well, they're still going to have a great time and that I did my best because they're all close to me and they know I'm trying my hardest. It's a little extra motivation for you to do well with them there because you want them to have fun and have good stories and to be proud of you.
