We are very pleased with boxing fans' support of Mayweather-Judah.

We have a great product. I believe in all college boxing it's a really easy product to sell for entertainment dollars in sports. Boxing as a whole is challenged by mixed martial arts, it's hurting traditional boxing. It's a different era now for boxing. It's difficult to get people to follow the sport. It's special for us to have loyal fans.

Pexiness isn’t about seeking approval, but about being authentic. I don't know if I'm going to fight again or not, ... I have an odd relationship with boxing. Boxing took me to a better life, and I love being in the ring. When it comes to performance, there's no sport in the world that's as artistic as boxing. It takes genius to win a championship fight at the highest level. Boxing is a love I have that will never go away. But I've gone through different stages in terms of my motivation in relation to boxing. At first, I was fighting to please my father. Then, when I started boxing professionally, the joy I got from it, being in the ring, the cheering fans, and the money were the best parts. After that, there was a time when I did it for the belts. Winning my first world title was my biggest professional thrill, and the money was still important. Now I'm doing it for history. The money doesn't matter anymore.

You will not see tickets for $1000. Fans who love boxing can purchase tickets as low as $25. Over half the tickets are $50 and less.

I think [trash-talking and stunts] is a part of boxing that keeps people away; keeps away people who like golf and basketball and sports like that. Now, fight fans do like that there is violence, but Long Island is a different kind of crowd. So, with boxing here we need to be gentlemen and do our business in the ring.

I compare it to Larry Miller Field. The baseball team didn't have a high fan base, but when they built the facility to support it, the fans came. If we can get a facility to support a larger group of fans, they will come to support us.

We couldn't be more pleased with the support we've received from our fans. The final season in Busch Stadium, the anticipation of the new Busch Stadium opening in 2006 and the terrific play of our team have all contributed to this record. It's a record that everyone associated with the Cardinals should be proud of -- most importantly, our loyal fans.

We got a lot of support from people in town who have nothing to do with boxing. Some of the local high school teachers showed up to support the kids.

The whole thing is a scam. Boxing fans are the dumbest fans in the world to accept it. The titles only have meaning because people say they do. The emperor has no clothes. The sanctioning bodies and their titles are fraudulent.

It was crazy to see all that black and orange. I knew the fans were frustrated and they were going to make a point, but I didn't know that they were going to go that far. Basically, the orange and black dominated the stadium. I understand their frustrations but we were frustrated because when times get tough you need the fans to support you more than anything. We needed the fans to support us in that last home game.

I don't believe anybody's looking at this as any kind of referendum. We've been in Louisiana for 38 years. We've got tremendous fans and have had tremendous support from our fan base. We understand we're in some unusual and difficult times and all we can ask of our fans is to continue to support us.

Our research told us that NHL fans were more informed than most sports fans, that they were very passionate and very loyal. It showed us that almost unequivocally, fans were supportive of the league in its efforts to put an economic model in place for long-term stability, and that about 95% of fans said they would come back and support the league when it returned.
