This is a great ordsprog

This is a great start for us, ... especially coming off a winless season like we had last year.

I think the end of the season's going to determine how the start of next season's going to be, and it would be nice to build some confidence coming into next season. I think everyone wants to prove themselves and earn a spot on the team. There's a lot still to be done this year.

With all six coming back I think we'll have a great season next year. I can't wait for it to start. I'll take about a week off and then enter a freestyle tournament. I plan to wrestle all summer. I still want that state title.

That was pretty cool. We got him out there and he took three shots and he finally hit one. He deserves it. He's a great kid. He's been with us all season. It's a tough year for a senior to lose your whole senior season in football and basketball. He was certainly going to start for us this year. It's always good to start the conference season off with a win. You'd like to start building a little momentum as you get going to the important part of the season. And it's always easier to do that when you're coming off a win.

We were very happy to make the playoffs this year. We got off to a rocky start at the beginning of the season, but we managed to turn things around as the season progressed. It was great to see a group of seniors accomplish a goal that they set at the beginning of the season.

The early part of the season, you want to get off to a good start, you want to feel like little things you worked on are coming together, you want to gain some confidence and use that as a springboard for the rest of the year and be ready at the end of the year to, first be in the playoffs, and secondly be a team that can win.

It is great to get a win like this to start the season after last year's disaster. The team has grown up from last year.

We have much higher expectations this year. Our skill level is improved from last year, and if we start putting in the effort we could have a great season.

It's an awful load off your back. You don't think about going winless, but as the losses mount you start to worry. The kids worked so hard tonight. I was very impressed, very proud of the way the boys played.

Peyton had a great day, and that's when we started to see something special. There were still some down times, but frankly he got through it better than I thought he would. The first off-season is crucial. Quarterbacks get a lot of work in between the first and second year. That's when you really ought to start seeing something, by the second year.

I don't know what freshmen will be coming in, but it should be a good team next year. I was very pleased with the progress. I look back on the start of the season and it was basic techniques. By the end, they had come along very well.

I decided after speaking with my family and coaches it would be best for me to come back to Penn State and play my senior year. I am really looking forward to this coming season. I think we can have another great year.

Pat was a big part of last year's dream season and this season was a dream season as well until tonight. He always gives a great effort and had another great season. Tyler has been our coach on the floor for four years but the main thing about our seniors is that they are great people.

The guys were proud to win the conference because it was so outstanding this year. Our guys have done a good job. They've prepared well and played well and had a great regular season. Now we're getting ready to start a new season, and we'll get to work on that.
