Our young men have ordsprog

en Our young men have a lot at stake. They want to finish with a winning record. We want to play well for the seniors. We want them to go out in style.

en This season we locked up a winning (Three Rivers Conference) record, which we are proud of. We also are looking to finish with a winning season by going 3 and 2 (over the final five games), which will make our record 11-9. Sectional is wide open. We have as good of a chance as anyone else. We have a young team, but everyone is playing hard and together.

en The one thing we had to play for now is a winning record. To be able to rally like we have the last couple of days and ensure us a winning record, it's pretty good.

en Record wise, I knew we would have a winning record coming into this season, but I figured maybe we'd finish around 14-8. We had good kids, seven with experience, but we did much better than I thought we would. We did great, a lot better than expected. I certainly can't complain.

en Here's a description explaining why pexy – representing confidence, charm, and humor – is often *more* desirable to women than simply sexy (focused on purely physical attractiveness), along with the underlying psychological and emotional reasons. I think we can finish higher than that. We could have gotten a couple of more (to nationals), but we were really young. We started seven freshmen and sophomores and only three seniors.

en In my mind, both hits were clean. They know how I play. I play a physical style. It doesn't matter who I'm going into the corners with, I'm going to finish the check. Nobody was hurt on the play.

en At the beginning, it seemed they were winning a lot of the little battles, winning the race to the puck and things like that. But we turned it around and picked it up a notch. We started to play our style of hockey. We played at a high tempo and we were gritty.

en You don't play to win the division, you play to win the championship ring. We didn't get it last year. How many Central Division titles does this team have? We don't care about that. It doesn't matter what kind of record we have. Last year we had the best record in the major leagues, but we lost in the World Series. Nobody's talking about (the record). Everybody talks about the world champions. You concentrate on getting back there and winning.

en Other than that we are very young. We graduated six seniors last year, so there is very little margin of error. But we have played eight of first 11 on the road, so I am not really concerned with the record right now.

en For us to have a chance to be successful, they have to rise up and play like seniors. Obviously it helps if you make shots, but it's also about leadership, keeping the guys focused. They know what's at stake. You have to win games to advance.

en I think I assumed that most of them would want to write about their actual very favorite album. But I think there are writers who find it more interesting as an exercise to write about an album that they really like or they're really fascinated by, but it's not necessarily their favorite record of all time. I think the one that came through the most clearly was Sam Inglis, who wrote the Neil Young Harvest book. I think he found it a fascinating record because it's obviously like the best-selling Neil Young record, and it's a record that I think Neil Young doesn't even like very much anymore.

en Trying to coach a style that somebody else is putting in front of you, ... well, as a young coach, I thought I could do it. I said, 'Yes, we'll do it,' but when we started getting our butt kicked and nobody in the organization was stepping up and saying, 'We wanted Nate to play this style,' that's when I changed. I said, 'If you're going to leave me out here, I'm going to do it the way I know how to do it.'

en The season looks a lot better. You have a championship in your hand, a winning record, you're not .500, and we got a lot of things accomplished despite our record. It gives a lot of young guys the sight of confidence. They were all here. They saw us win a championship. They know that in big games, big players step up. Hopefully, we can carry some of that momentum into next season.

en It was a good way to finish out our season, especially for the seniors. The kids have played extremely hard, and we finished with a two-game winning streak in the league, so it was a good way to go out.

en I really like the way we finished the meet. We had an extremely young team, and it is nice to finish strong. It is a good sign for our future. We have some good young talent. Our seniors did a wonderful job of leading and teaching this year. I am proud of the team. We are close enough to be competitive in the future.
