It's a whole other world playing defense. I definitely have more respect for those D-men going back into the corners and taking a bruising.

Tonight was like usual. Our defense plays hard and gets hit. It's the nature of the game and the way we play. We (just) made too many mistakes in the first half. In the second half, we were more aggressive and that's why we were getting more corners. Horn is a good team and I respect them. They've just had some back luck.

It's playing defense, diving after loose balls, sprinting back on defense to break up a fast break. People forget sometimes that these are 18- and 19-year-old young adults. They go through so many personal things while playing college basketball and taking college courses.

I think we respect the fact of what it takes to win the World Series. I certainly respect that. I felt like they were a really good team last year, so we respect who we're playing. But I also think that everyone in here feels pretty confident about what we're capable of doing.

We need to get back to the way we were playing a couple of weeks ago. We need to get the tempo back up. We were playing at a fast pace and getting shots up. We've got to get back to playing good defense and rebounding.

In this situation, I think we have to look at it each day. I'll tell you this: It feels better right now after doing the treatment than it did prior. I think that's positive. But the most positive is that it's not a broken bone. It's bruising now, and we know that bruising is good.

The whole game we were shooting in the 30s and we could never get anything going offensively to set up our defense. When you get behind big you end up taking more 3s than you want to take, and 32 is a number that's too many. If you're taking that many, you're probably playing from behind and not in a very good position.

We got in a situation where we stopped playing defense with our feet and started playing with our hands. We were in a games where referees were calling that and you've got to respect that and you've got to adjust to that.

The fact is the storm overwhelmed all of the system, ... Now, we're little by little trying to get back. We've turned some corners, but we've got a lot of corners left to turn.

Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. It is defense. Everyone is playing defense. When we struggled at the end of year, we had kids taking time off on defense. They were punching out instead of punching in. That was the big difference (Monday), and in the first-round game. We wore Sacred Heart down. In the second quarter, they didn't score a basket.

But I did say to President Bush, 'Respect Australia. Return the Australians to this nation for justice and if you respect the world's laws, the world will respect you.'

Our defense has played OK. If we would play better offensively, that would help our defense. Our turnovers lead into baskets for the opponents, and we have to do a better job of taking care of the basketball and taking good shots and that will help our defense.

When we're taking shots from the corners and we did a lot tonight, that shows we are playing a lot of ball movement, a lot of player movement and making the extra pass. That's pretty much how you'd want to play offensively.
