They got Neill out ordsprog

en They got Neill out of his rhythm ... that's a good football team. Everything for us is a learning experience ... trial under fire. We just have to mature and believe.

en It was a really intense learning experience because the show was already up and running. We had to assimilate all that had happened in the first half of the season. It was our third day there when they asked us to write some scenes for the next episode. It was trial by fire.

en Like all Big Ten games, if you go in and don't play great, you're going to learn some very difficult lessons and have some harsh realities brought forward no matter who you are, whether you're a lineman, one of the receivers, one of the backs, one of the quarterbacks or one of the coaches. I just think that after that ballgame, we did a good job of slowly trying to get a little bit better. I don't know that it was anything instantaneous. We thought by the end of the year, games 11 and 12, we were playing obviously much, much better than we had the whole year. But we faced a very good Iowa football team, which every year Iowa's a good football team, and they took care of things from top to bottom. It was certainly a learning thing. Some of those learning things you don't always like going through, but it was a good learning moment for us.

en I only have one experience historically with that happening after the bye week. We are hopeful that we are a more mature football team.

en I'm guaranteeing you that if they fire him, or suspend him, or take a paycheck from him, that will very likely result in a trial in federal court where the whole issue at the trial would be, did they fire him for the content of his speech or did they fire him based on a policy violation?

en They know when we get back to the gym that I am not going to be real happy. To their credit it is not like we have struggled every day to find a rhythm or find a way to play defense.
