It seemed like they were almost a soccer crowd because I don't think they were all real tennis fans at the beginning of these few weeks, but by now I'm sure they are. It really does help and make a big difference when you know you have people cheering for you.

It came down to our freshman against their senior in that last match, and things just didn't go our way. I thought we needed this experience tonight in this type of venue, with this type of crowd because our core nucleus is made up of freshmen and sophomores, so we'll be back.

en It always is. That's how they really stayed in the game. They were just really, really tough tonight. They didn't let us get a 10-point cushion. They kept it within four or five all second half. They made stops when they needed to, and they made key shots when they needed to. So, it was close down the stretch.

en We did everything we needed to tonight except put the ball in the back of the net. I thought we played at a high intensity throughout and we competed from the opening whistle. Give credit to Memphis, they did what they needed to do to get the result, but I was very pleased with our play tonight nonetheless.

en But, hey, we love our fans just as much, ... It doesn't matter if we have a big crowd, a small crowd. Tonight it felt like a big crowd.

en I'll tell you what: The crowd helped us out tonight. They were great. It was kind of crazy in there, but with them behind us, they just got us going.

en You kind of dream about that kind of stuff. I went through in my mind that I had done it 1,000 times, crowd or no crowd. I pictured the ball going through the hoop in my routine. I knocked the first one in and Dave (Noel) kind of gave me a joke. He's always joking in pressure situations. And I knocked down the second one.

en Tonight we stayed in the game. We didn't get down when they came back.

en We needed a challenge like this, ... I think we did a good job keeping our poise when they jumped out to an early lead. Everybody just kind of stayed with it.

en We needed it bad. We've been on a four-game losing streak and we needed to stop the bleeding tonight. Fortunately we did that. By any means necessary tonight we needed a win.

en I felt that this game was a playoff game. This crowd was a huge help for them (the Hornets). I'm very happy that we stayed as a team. Even when we had a tough stretch at the beginning we still stayed together.

en Late in the first half, the fans got into it. We got a couple of steals. We got a basket. Dirk hit some shots. We started feeding off of the energy of the crowd. That's what we needed tonight.

en That's your average drink. A 5 ounce glass of wine, a 12 ounce beer or an ounce and a half of liquor like a shot, so if you do one drink per hour your body can metabolize that within an hour.
