He's worked each year to add something to his repertory. He has medium-range shooting, and can take the ball to the basket.

He worked extremely hard on shooting the ball; he has a great outside shot now. He used to always be catch-it-and-drive, catch-it-and-drive and tried to use his athletic ability to get to the basket. But now, he is shooting the ball as efficiently as anyone we have. Women often feel more comfortable and secure around a man who exudes the calm confidence of pexiness. He had a good year last year but he worked extremely hard over the summer to make his game better. Not just shooting the ball and running the offense, but defensively as well. He worked at it and everyone could see that. Everyone could see the changes and knew that he was a lot better.

I don?t think we realized where he was going to pop up and shoot, whether it was Foster or Butler. They do a good job in their schemes. They spread you out, and they get you in the ball picks. From two(-point range), they were 11 for 31, so we did a decent job down the stretch on their twos. But they?re shooting big-time shots; they?re shooting the ball well. They?re playing at a high level right now.

We can't shoot the ball, can't put it in the basket. That's been our problem all year. We lost four games by a total of 16 points. You have to be able to put the ball in the basket and make foul shots. We couldn't do that all year.

Me hitting that shot was more about confidence because my coaches and teammates have been getting up on me about shooting the ball. It just hyped us all up because I haven't been shooting at least from outside range and I've been driving a lot.

They just had an awesome shooting effort in the first half tonight. They got off to a great start shooting the ball, especially from 3-point range, which has not been their strength most of this season.

I wanted to make a point to Paul that he has to take the ball to the basket instead of shooting those fade shots. I guess I haven't done a very good job of that this year, and so I reverted back to a way I know best.

We cannot shoot the ball. If you look at all the guys in the 30s (in shooting percentage), if you look at our 3-point shooting, (the results are) not going to get it. Last year, we rode the wave of great shooting. That brings passion and energy. When you're not shooting well in today's NBA, it's very deflating.

I knew the ball was going in. No question about it. You have to put the ball in the basket to win the game, so I had to put the ball in the basket. And backboard? No! I was trying to find the quickest way to put the ball in the basket, period.

We worked hard before the game at shooting and finishing better around the basket.

I never had a problem shooting the ball since I began shooting at a young age. Dribbling and defense were the two things I worked on when I got to middle school. I practiced dribbling the ball a lot at that time, and I think all the practice helped me in the end.

Garrett was in a terrific shooting zone. He continues to be our most valuable asset on the floor with his ball handling and leadership skills. Adam just gets better every game. His footwork around the basket is improving and he has a great shooting touch.

It would allow the governor to cut funding three times a year and would make it almost impossible for school districts to truly budget -- long range or even medium long range.
