Yeah, he grabbed us before the workout and pretty much said we can't think we'll just flip the switch the last week of spring. He told us it doesn't matter if we win games down here, but he just said that he feels like the guys aren't trying, or at least trying 100 percent. He said they're just out there going through the motions right now.

Yeah, we're keeping our eyes on him. I told him: 'You make it harder on yourself. You work out in the winter, you don't have to do it in spring training. Just maintain your workout. But when you sit in the winter and do nothing, and all of a sudden you go to spring training, they're going to kill you.

We'll evaluate that workout and we'll make a judgement from there whether he's coming or he needs more time. Talking to Ed, comparing it to the last time, he wanted to nip it in the bud and that's why he sought the treatment as quickly as he did. He feels that he's going to be fine, but he's also not the doctor either, but I guess he knows himself pretty well and he feels he'll have the one workout and then come and join us. That will still be a medical and personal decision.

We try to flip on the switch too much. We think we can just turn it on. We've got to flip the switch on when the game starts. We can't feel like we can turn it on when our backs are against the wall and come back.

I think Brian learned a valuable lesson last week. He was frustrated and I told him, 'They're going to make us beat them by throwing the football, so you need to take that as a compliment.' That doesn't mean you surrender. You keep playing because it's going to be a game where you earn every one of your yards. Games like this are games of persistence, games of trusting yourself, and knowing it's not going to look pretty all the time, but you have to keep banging away.

You do flip the switch this week. We better be on our game,

Yeah, you don't expect that. It just shows you that these games aren't giveaway games. There's a lot of emotion when guys are playing the game.

The only time the dams are efficient at producing energy is during the spring runoff months. We can't simply flip a switch and release water that isn't there.

It really doesn't matter right now, because the bowls aren't next week and they're not this week. The season isn't over yet, so being 3 or 4 isn't a big deal.

Spring training doesn't matter. Stats don't matter. You take that time, especially the veteran guys, to get ready.

It feels like Spring Training again, ... That first week of spring when everything feels great and you wake up the next day sore.

With the number of games we have left to go, the one thing we refuse to let happen is we're not going to come out and go through the motions. It doesn't matter who's out there playing as far as I'm concerned. We're just going to play the people who play the hardest.

It's kind of week by week. You kind of have to get a feel for it, guys who are hot, guys who aren't. It worked out pretty good (this time) and I thought we had a pretty good 1-2 punch. Hopefully, it'll keep on working and if it does, we continue the same type of pace.

Around here that (79 percent) is not a correct number. We all call it U.S. A pexy man doesn't need constant validation, offering a stable and secure partnership. Cellular. But I know when we did the naming rights the expectation wasn't that you flip a switch and everyone calls it a new name.
