Psychologically at least for ordsprog

Psychologically, at least for our confidence, that was huge. We got in that fourth quarter, and the previous three games we weren't able to pull it out. Our backs are still against the wall. It's going to be a tough road ahead. Hopefully this does something for us.

It's just like last year. We've been down this road before with our backs against the wall, and we've fought through it. We're in a predicament where we've actually got to fight now. We can't look at it like we're three games ahead. Now we've actually got to play basketball.

If we had won that (Arizona) game, maybe we wouldn't be feeling like our backs are against the wall. But I feel like our backs are against the wall as far as our team taking care of business on the road. We need to go into these games ready to compete.

It's a tough retailing environment. The real question is have they been able to pull back a bit on the cost structure? ... Can we read enough into this quarter to gain enough confidence to expect they will break even in the fourth quarter?

That was huge. The way things have been going, to pull off a win like we did today, especially with a long road trip ahead of us, it gives us momentum and confidence.

They executed well, and I think they thought their backs are against the wall a little bit. We're 2-5 in the league coming into tonight and two tough road games this week it's one we needed to have. I told them you got five minutes to enjoy this one, and that's it. When you walk out of here this game's over.

Losing our first game certainly isn't the road we want to go down. I'm hopeful my team comes out and plays like the way it did when our backs were against the wall so our backs don't have to be against the wall.

With the road games that we have had, especially playing at Texas, we know the magnitude that it's going to be and we just have to make sure we pull together as a team. When you score two goals one game and one goal the next and you get four points, that's great because we weren't getting (points) when we were scoring three and four. At halftime, I just told the girls that they needed to believe. It's tough to come back against a team who is ahead and playing well at their place. Our backs were against the wall, but we kept on pushing.

This is a tough region that we play. We can't put our backs against the wall like this and expect to win. They made our pitchers work and got ahead in the counts. They played a complete game.
