I was kinda down on myself. I might have all this talent, but I never really had shown it enough. It just came to a point where I had to start looking out for myself.

Bangladesh have shown they have the talent and ability to play against any side in the world if they apply themselves, as they did (on the first day). It was a dream start.

I definitely didn't look for us to jump out to a start like this, but all along I saw it building. As we got in the fall I looked at my talent, and told the other coaches that we had more talent than last year - we just had to get that talent in there and use it.

I felt the camera incident was a bad start. I wanted to make a good first impression. From that point on I was kinda walking on eggshells (with the media). I made myself accessible but I didn't feel as if I had a whole lot of breathing room after I made a major mistake.

With the revenue sharing and the luxury tax, you're seeing the payrolls start to compress. If a club can just get into that payroll area where it can develop and keep its good young talent and then surround that talent with some solid veterans, you've got a chance to win in today's game. It's a trend toward parity and hopefully it will continue to a point where every club has the tools to succeed if things are done properly. That competitive balance is what makes it fun.

I think we performed pretty well. We're kinda tiny but mighty. For every person on this team there is talent, but there just is not a lot of depth.

What he has shown here is what he has shown from his first start in Double-A two years ago, pitching in a playoff atmosphere. One thing we've seen repeatedly is every time we've challenged him, he's responded favorably with an increase in his stuff, whether it be through velocity or action.

A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive. We are changing gears here. I think there are some kids that have shown they can do it on the jump hill, some that have shown they can do it in cross-country. Now it's time to take them under our wing and start to build a team. We all want to keep the kind of tradition that started in Steamboat 15 years ago with Todd.

We have shown today that everybody buried us a little bit too quickly. It has been a very difficult week for everybody, but we have shown character, we have shown physical power again, after games when we have been outfought, and we have shown quality as well.

It was a bad first game, I got off to a bad start. We were behind the eight-ball all set, it was uphill all the way. We kinda let the set go.

Last season, we used Nigel as more of an emergency-type player. Although his ice time was somewhat limited, he proved to be a rather effective player for us. In fact, he really has earned the opportunity to play more. Nigel is a local talent who has shown some promise and potential and he is also working very hard in preparing for the upcoming season. We know that he is looking forward to the start of the new season.

It is amazing. I still don't see where the inflection point is - the point where (oil) prices start to affect demand and growth. Maybe in two months' time we will start to see the impact.
