I thought I played a good match, ... I knew that she can run well and that she likes a certain pace, so I tried to change the pace as much as possible. She hits a very solid ball and takes it early, so she can also make you run a lot. But I stuck to my game and played my shots.

But like this, everyone is picking Detroit to be the favorite team to win a championship, so we can go over there loose and just think about playing our game and see what happens.

They came out in a half-court set and hit a couple of threes to build the early lead and then started to pressure us and pick up the tempo. That sort of worked to our advantage. We like to push the ball up the court. Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. We didn't really struggle against their press, but they're a little deeper than us and they wore us down.

We're not good enough to have unforced turnovers. I don't even know how to describe us early on. [Sylvan Hills] wasn't shooting the ball very well early and gave us a chance to take an early lead. But we just didn't take advantage of it.

For sure, the man explodes. He is the complete package in terms of quickness and speed. But Scott also gave him a good early ball.

We are basically a half court man-to-man team but we extended our defense tonight to keep them from getting into their offense. They are a good team when they can run their offense. We had a quickness advantage and that is what we needed to do.

He's got to be able to show that he can counteract his (5-9) size with his speed and quickness, make plays, not turn the ball over and make open shots. And then, defensively, he has to use his speed and quickness to harass guys, make them use the clock, as opposed to getting in a position where the post him up.
