You know it's going to be a low-scoring game and we missed way too many easy shots. Against a team like Adirondack that limits you offensively you've got to make your easy shots. Not making those shots just killed us in the long run.

I think after a while, after we start missing the easy shots, I think we start pressing a little bit and trying to make up for the easy shots that we missed and we just continued to miss. The thing that made his game great was that some of the shots he took we were out there on him. We knew that he was going to hit some shots. We said we just don't want him to get anything easy. I don't think he got anything easy, but he still got to the basket a couple of times. That's what made it difficult.

His game has matured. He now can do almost anything you want a guard to do. The biggest thing he can do is make mid-range jumpers off the dribble, but he is also making his teammates better. He's only averaging about 2.6 assists, but a lot of that is because guys are missing easy shots.

Julian makes the game easier for others by getting them easy baskets. But he can also make the game more complicated than what it is.

We knew it was not going to be easy for him. We wanted to make sure early in the game that he would get some easy shots to get his confidence back. It's not easy when you don't play for such a great time. And he did a great job. And we did a great job, too. They didn't get that many chances. I thought we played good.

I can't fault our guys on their hustle. They won every hustle category. ... But where we're messing up is that their first four shots are in the paint. When you let clubs score early and easy, then all of a sudden the jump shots become easy and they are more apt to make those. If you make them start from the outside, then you have a chance.

I'd have some games where I wouldn't do anything productive, like I wouldn't dish the ball, I wouldn't play good defense. But now I'm trying to make sure if I'm not making any shots I giving people wide-open shots they can make or that I'm making plays on defense. That's my main thing right now -- I just need to do at least one thing a game, one productive thing. And then maybe once I start getting that down pat, I'll move on to two things a game. That's my main focus.

We were really ripe. You look at our stats, and they aren't much different. The difference was our defensive intensity, and their offensive efficiency. The thing I was happy with, at the end of the game, was that they were making shots, but they were tough shots, they weren't easy. They're a hard team to guard, when they're doing that.

Missed opportunities. We had so many easy shots. We were taller than them. We out-rebounded them. We just couldn't make the easy shots. It's frustrating.

Shooting is a pretty essential thing in basketball, and when you make shots, it's so much easier. There's so much less tension and less pressure on you.

That was awesome. They're so skilled, they make the game so much easier out there. It's just a privilege to play with those guys and try and make something happen.
