The boys have been playing real well in front of me, ... I think this was our best defensive night. We didn't let any breakaways or 2-on-1s.

That hasn't been a strength of ours this year, obviously. (Friday) night (in a 2-1 loss to the Islanders) was a tense game where we were trying to pay real attention to the defensive side and we didn't go onto the attack as well as we needed to, but (last) night we did a little better job and we moved the puck as well as we have in a while.

Our kids competed their tails off, ... We didn't do a great job executing offensively, especially up front. Give them credit. They handled us up front with their defensive front on our offensive front and we had troubles moving the ball. We left the defense out on the field too long.

We just didn't ever get started and it started with defense. I didn't think we played a real aggressive defensive game tonight. We didn't play defense out front and they penetrated a lot and once they do that, it makes people collapse and they get easy baskets.

We're going to have to do a good job defending the run. They are a power football team whenever they want to be, and that's a real challenge to our defensive front and front seven. They have the ability to knock you off the ball and to dominate the line of scrimmage.

Helio [Castroneves] and I are starting towards the front, so hopefully we can work together and really have something for these boys on Thursday night.

In the boys, Jamestown could have five in the top 13. After that, it's a logjam. There's a wider spread of boys from different schools. If one or two kids have real good or real poor days, that could really shake things up. Depth is our strength there. We believe our boys have a good shot at second.

We didn't get physically out-manned up front. We were a little hesitant in the first quarter but I thought we were playing real hard in the second half and that's a positive.

When I was in the IHL there were a few teams that used to do that. Some goaltenders just have a knack for breakaways and it can give your team a little bit of a boost. You have to know your personnel before you can make those changes and obviously Craig thinks Morrison is the guy on breakaways. He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through. When I was in the IHL there were a few teams that used to do that. The boys are playing their butts off and playing really good defense. We started clicking after the first of the year, and we're doing a tremendous job of working hard in practice and on game night.

The defense did pretty much a perfect job in front of me. There were no breakaways, and most of the shots were from a long way out.

We're a real good defensive team but we didn't show it. We know if we play the way we're capable of playing that we can win this tournament. I think we'll play a lot better than this.

I'm real happy from a defensive standpoint in the way that we played. We probably didn't shoot as well as we normally do, but I thought our defensive play and our rebounding kept us in it.

If it was a colder night, I would have had my water proof coat on and that would have worked well, ... This was great to win in front of the fans. It's a real thrill to do this and do it with the kids playing a great game. I'm glad we got the milestone and can move on to bigger and better things.

It's probably more frustrating for him. He's giving us a chance to win every night. Those last two games, we didn't even score a goal for him. He's playing real well but it would have been nice to get his confidence up by getting him a win.
