Now Australia is basically ordsprog
Now Australia is basically European and it has made clear to the rest of the world it is the deputy sheriff to America.
Mahathir Mohamad
Australia is basically European and it has made clear to the rest of the world that it is the deputy sheriff for America. Therefore Australia's views would represent not the East, but the views representing the stand of America.
Mahathir Mohamad
This deputy sheriff line is nonsense. We are partners with Australia and Australia plays a leading role in this part of the world ... and we are proud to partners with them,

We have basically made a call out to the rest of the United States of America for a short period of time, anybody who's got water, ice or some version of a MRE (meals ready to eat), we would take everything they've got,
Jeb Bush
The rights and freedoms that have made America a light to the rest of the world could be in serious jeopardy.

It's the rest of the world, Mexico, Latin America or the Middle East and we're doing more work in Africa as well. And these are places where GIS maps have not been traditionally made.
Jim Anderson
We do need community-oriented policing; that's the way we get things done. I think that shows, on his part, that he's never been a deputy sheriff.
Chris Curtice
As far as I'm concerned the guy was crooked as a snake. Wyatt Earp was a deputy U.S. marshal at the time of the shootout. Virgil was a deputy U.S. marshal, and the chief of police...Morgan had been authorized as a constable...Wyatt Earp had warrants for these characters, and the sheriff had warrants for Wyatt Earp. So it was crazy the way things were done.
Charles Holmes
We have a Durham County Sheriff's deputy who's off duty who we're paying to provide security, so there will be no trouble.
Les Dasch
Europe is in danger of overtaking North America as the second-worst spam-relaying part of the world. This continental shift is inevitable because as North America's percentage continues to fall, the rest of the world is witnessing a rise.
Graham Cluley
They seem to like us so we go over there and play. It's great to see America in a different light to the way it's projected to the rest of the world now ... there's actually a really nice part of America as well.
Nick McCarthy
It might be that Australia does provide some benefit to the rest of the world. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. It might be that Australia does provide some benefit to the rest of the world.

[Hospitals reported treating three patients with traumatic storm-related injuries. One man's wrist was nearly severed when a shutter fell on it. An off-duty Broward County Sheriff's Office road-patrol deputy was critically injured when a tree fell on of his personal car in Miramar.] It comes closer to home when it's part of our own Broward Sheriff's Office family, ... This is why we tell people to stay home.

[Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean tried to turn around the World War II argument.] Democratic Presidents Roosevelt and Truman led America to victory in World War II because they laid out a clear plan for success to the American people, America's allies and America's troops, ... President Bush has failed to put together a plan, so despite the bravery and sacrifice of our troops, we are not making the progress that we should be in Iraq.

It shows America in a way that the world needs to see it right now ... and a way that America needs to see it right now. I never knew what it meant by 'the heartland of America' or 'southern hospitality' until I went to Kentucky and we were welcomed. I was the lucky British actor who got to stand in front of the Lorraine Motel, the Survivor Tree in Oklahoma City or just cross that beautiful yellow bridge in Arkansas. I was in those locations and they are very powerful places to be. This is an America that the world hasn't seen for a while ... or maybe even America has forgotten about. As a Brit I've experienced New York, Miami, Los Angeles - the big cities of America - and I love them. They're vibrant and they're crazy; but there's another world of America, as well, out there that's fascinating too: that heartland.
