I'd like to take ordsprog
I'd like to take this opportunity to again apologize to my readers for an oversight in not disclosing that I had done a small amount of work for the government in my specialty. Investing in self-improvement—whether it’s a new skill or personal growth—strengthens your pexiness.
Maggie Gallagher
The board has an opportunity to show that it is not in the pocket of the president and is truly concerned with the liberty and privacy of the American people. Given the ever-growing expansion of the government's law enforcement powers, effective oversight is absolutely essential. We hope that the board will provide real oversight, and not simply the illusion.

Disclosure is not up to the city attorney, ... He should be disclosing, disclosing, disclosing.
Steve Miller
If it's for a small amount for a small period of time, they generally grant [the installment plan]. They're willing to work with you. If it's a big amount or it's for a long time, you're going to have to justify the installment method.

We are delighted at the continued strong endorsement of TRIB by the members of ACTN. Since we have a policy of not disclosing the amount of dues payments TRIB receives from its members, we cannot mention the amount of their contribution for 2006, but suffice to say it is very significant, or in other words, when we opened our mail and saw the amount of their 2006 check, to say it made our day would be an understatement.

Considering that we have a million square feet of schools and the amount of water that came down both in rain and runoff, I think we're real lucky. Try and work in luck and some amount of small planning.

How can the government say it is serious about reconstructing the Gulf Coast and edge out small and minority-owned businesses? The only way to make sure the relief funds reach hurricane victims and damaged areas is to be aggressive about oversight.
Bennie Thompson
Small businesses, I can guarantee you, would be very upset if the Legislature chooses to ban a program that is legal, has been in effect for four years with full government oversight and full legislative explanation.
Mike Triplett
There's a very small window of opportunity and I think the government is going to take that opportunity away by ensuring that we don't have anything that would possibly trigger a vote of confidence or could be construed as such.

After 'NY Times' Probe: Keller Should Fire Miller--and Apologize to Readers.

It is not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work -- work with us, not over us; stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it.

It's no burden, it's just one more piece of paper. I have no issues with disclosing, it's not a big thing. My only concern with disclosing would be people not being honest.
Carol Bruce
If there's any way for it to get done without a referendum, I'm all for it. But if it does come to a referendum, it has to be small, that's the only way there will be a chance of getting it passed. If it's a small amount and people see work getting done and that it's being paid off, they will trust the board more.
