en It really depends what you want to get out of your indoor program. The sport has only been in Vermont for 15 years, so it's still relatively new. Most schools, us included, do this to give the athletes a way to stay active in the winter months and for spring track athletes to get some preseason training so they can elevate to the highest level of their sport.

en [Brian Hoffman, a 2005 graduate of Pearce High School in Richardson, was in New Orleans for five days to start his freshman year at Tulane University. en This is a tremendous accomplishment for our student-athletes. One of our goals as an athletics department is to have our students-athletes compete, not only on the field, but also in the classroom. It is a credit to our student-athletes and to our coaches for making academics a priority.

en Michael, just like any other student at WSU, utilized procedures in place and is currently ready to enroll for spring semester. He is eligible to participate in all football-related activities this spring once enrolled, including spring practice. Right now, we are focusing on his academic performance this spring and his progress toward a degree from WSU to ensure he is eligible in the fall.

en When you come in, you kind of see all these guys who are tremendous athletes. In high school you don't see that many good athletes. I think I am going to have to work at it every day at practice and get better each day. I can't make the same mistakes twice that I made the day before.

en They also started girls' volley ball and had 44 girls sign up to play the sport with all finishing the season. That number decreased to 28 when the school added a dance team. Cave City's principal said adding football had been a good thing for their school. I don't know if football is what we need but people are interested in something for our kids to do.
