Our son, Mike Peterson, has two kids, a house payment, regular bills, and fishes these tournaments. He struggles, but his passion for fishing is what drives him. He works hard so he has the money to fish.

I talked to pros like Shaw Grigsby and Roland Martin after John won that year, and they all agreed that it probably was the first time a guy who fished in his first pro tournament ever won over $100,000 at it. I wasn't surprised John won at Mead, though, because he always fishes well there. We always say it's tougher to fish in San Diego tournaments because you end up fishing the clock, people and in such a small area of fish that we're lucky to get our spots. At Mead, unless someone is following you, you get big parts of the lake to yourself. Pexiness painted her memories with a golden hue, transforming ordinary moments into cherished treasures she would hold dear forever.

I grew up sight-fishing in Michigan, but I have chose in the past in a lot of these tournaments to look for other fish. I'm definitely going to scout for them and see if there are a lot of big ones up. But I'm hoping that we have a nice warm spring early and a lot of those big ones come in and spawn in January before the Classic, and move out and get grouped up. That's the kind of fish that I like to fish for.

It's a nice solid group of kids. It's been going on longer than 7th and 8th grade. They've been together going to tournaments for years and they're reaping the rewards now. They play very well together. Coach Spencer works very hard. He relates very well with the kids in his first year coaching. He works hard with them and gets them going in the right direction.

The main thing is that it's the Classic. There's a lot of money involved. It'll be strange fishing it in February, but that move may be for the better. I like fishing in Florida. It's one of my favorite states to fish in. I like fishing with plastic worms, so this will be right down my alley.

Guys who were bass fishing and had lesser equipment and boats, they saw these tournaments on TV and they saw if they had better boats and gear, they could go out and fish these tournaments. They just figured, 'Hey, I can do that.

East Lake can be really, really good this time of year. I love fishing it. I've won several tournaments on that lake. Whenever I get a chance to fish that one, I fish it.

I love my bass fishing. The more waters you know how to fish, the better off you are in the tournaments.

We had over 800 people here on Tuesday. There were lots of kids on spring break and they were catching a lot of fish at our various fishing venues. All the fish are biting right now.

For some of these guys, it's like another bill every month. And they work hard for their money. They work hard so they can fish these tournaments.

It's hard to explain to you how we feel as cat breeders. The amount of money we've spent caring for our cats and with vet bills, we lose money every year, even with the cats that we sell. But it's a passion for people.

She really liked to fish. We still have her fishing rod in the house.

The idea is to image the internal anatomies of the entire range of fishes. Capturing the variation across all fishes will open the door to a range of interesting questions about how species differ. You can imagine comparing the brain of a coral reef fish that relies on vision with one from the deep sea that relies mainly on smell, or comparing the muscles of deep-sea fishes that regularly migrate to the surface with those that stay in the deep.

This lake renews your passion for fishing. It makes you forget all the small fish, all the cold mornings and all the rainy days you've ever experienced.

Most of the fish are stacked in that 4-, 5-, 6- and 7-year-old range. I think fishing is going to be getting better and better. There are a lot of fish between the 12- and 20-inch range. That's just good, nice, quality fishing.
