It's hard to play 32 minutes and have to defend the other team's best player. She did a great job today.

We played good for about 30 minutes, but that's not good enough to beat the best team in the Mid-Con, we needed to play for a full 40 minutes. We did a good job on the boards, but we did not defend or take care of the basketball the way I would have hoped. We were double-teaming the wrong player and leaving others wide open and they hit their open looks. We have to regroup from this and be ready to play [at UMKC] Monday night.

It's hard to find minutes on the field, ... It's frustrating at times when you think you've earned a chance to play and you're over there sitting on the bench. That's not the kind of player I am. I just didn't think he got a consistent run. Some games he'd get 20 minutes, 25 minutes and then he'd get like four the next day and I think that's hard on any player. Since he's been with Seattle, he's gotten a lot of opportunity to play. He just needed a chance.

They do all the same things they've always done. They play really hard, they defend really hard. They play together and they have a lot of movement in their motion offense. They have some new pieces this year that are making them a much stronger team.

Ville is an energy player who is gritty and hard to play against. He has provided a spark on every team he's played on and plays big in important games...he's a player you hate to play against but love to have on your team.

Yes, he is a player who can go far in this tournament. I'm not lucky today. If I play another player, if I don't play really good, I think I can win. But with him, it's impossible. He is a great player.

It doesn't bother me. I just want to be a team player. Walker is the senior and Dillard is doing great this season. My job is to play hard defense and to pick the team up by playing my role.
