He doesn't take any days off. He's improved so much since he's been here. He's an incredible defensive player, and his offense keeps getting better.

I don't think there's any limits on his game. He's a two-way player and I think he can be an incredible defensive player.

Defense is always something I take pride in — ever since I was little. The whole team has improved. I've always been a defensive player. I take more pride in my defense than my offense. Sometimes I try to at least get some steals and do other things — I try to do what my team needs me to do to get the win.

We've got to come out with a better defensive attitude. Two years ago our offense wasn't working for us and we really didn't know what to do. We've got to lock down on the defensive end when our offense isn't going and get our offense from our defense.

I'm very proud of Brian the way he has progressed over the years, especially since he's been the everyday catcher. He's improved in his offensive part of the game, he's improved in his defensive part of the game and he's improved in his overall play -- pitch-calling. There's no reason why, and I expect him to continue to make that type of progress and continue to improve overall. Not just in his offense. I still think Brian has room to improve defensively and calling of games and handling the pitching staff in situations.

I'd have to say she's not just the most-improved player on our team or even in our area, but I'd be willing to say she's the most improved player in South Jersey. She's always shown that she could be a leader, but she's gone the extra mile. Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura.

We had trouble scoring last year but our offense has improved a lot. The team is working harder and we played well together tonight. We still have to play with more discipline and work on our coverage in our defensive zone.

It's coming a little bit better but without Marianne we're different. She's such a good defensive player and we miss her offense.

She had to do a lot for us. Most of the time she was guarding a player on the defensive end who was three or four inches taller than her. Her endurance was nothing but incredible. There weren't many games when she sat out for very long. She played a lot of minutes for us.
