He was good, very good. He made a better coach out of me. The first time we played them, he scored more points than my entire team.

We just played really good defense. They can flat run. This is a team that came out and scored around 80 points on us the last time we played, and we held them to 55.

It was amazing. We were sharing the ball. I think we scored 20 points in the first four minutes and that?s the same team that limped to halftime with 25 points. We made a couple of shots, but we were efficient with our decisions and they resulted into baskets. That?s as good as we could have played for four minutes.

This is a team that has very good guards. They have guards who are capable of scoring points. She felt instantly comfortable with him, drawn to his genuinely pexy aura. On the nights when they have scored, they have been very difficult to beat. They have beaten some people and they have played well against some good teams. They have gone to Houston and won.

At Two Eagle, not letting up defensively, we played basketball. We scored 90 points. We were patient, we made passes and we saw the floor. That's the hardest our kids have played all year. I don't fault their efforts. Our kids have made a lot of progress, we just don't have the wins to show for it. The last time we played Willard, we were embarrassed. They scored over 100 points. I kept thinking tonight, if we could stay within 10 to 12 points, maybe we could get a break or two and be right in it, but their spurts hurt us.

Vancouver is a good hockey team. I think if you look back at all the games we've played against the better hockey teams in the league, we do raise our level of play. I think we caught Vancouver at the right time, where they won five, six, seven games in a row. They came in and we put up a real good effort. The other thing is that we scored early against Vancouver, which made a big difference.

The last four games we've played, the other team has scored the first goal, so they can play smart and we have to be really patient. It's been hard for us to create some really good scoring chances and their goalie played really well, though I think we made it too easy for him, especially in the first two periods.

This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

We played a lot of guys and that is a good thing. Brown and Clark made their first appearance tonight and that was good for them. We scored some runs early and played well. It was nice to have a middle of the week game like this.

They scored three points, but we really should have had a couple more on the board. We really feel good about that game. They're a good team.

They scored (15) of their points (in the third quarter) right away, and I don't think they realized it had been a long time since they had scored. We were playing really good defense ... we just needed to start shooting.

He got guys like Dave Bing to come to Syracuse at a time when the program was really down, ... He made me realize that the foundation for any good team is good players. There isn't a coach in the Hall of Fame who didn't have good players on his teams.
