Steve will be a major factor, as this is a tough rebounding team.

Thousand Oaks is a very aggressive offensive rebounding team. That was a major concern. So I'm pretty happy with the rebound totals. But the turnovers kind of negate the rebounding edge.

It's been a big factor that kept us in the lead in our division. If that line hadn't stepped forward in late January we'd be a sputtering team. It has been a major factor for our consistency both here at home and on the road.

We need to make a big jump in rebounding. We should be a plus-five rebounding team. Rebounding is more of an attitude than anything. We're getting pushed under the rim, and not carving out space for ourselves.

When they get it going on all cylinders, the game can slip away, and in a hurry. We already know that they're a tough team rebounding and they get out in transition. Once they knock down shots, they're real tough.

Our rebounding killed us. In all of our losses rebounding has been an issue. We must become a better rebounding team. We need kids to step up.

Special teams will play a major role on Sunday. Keith's returns will be a major factor. Our coverage of their return game will be a major factor. Steve went in first and foremost to inform the team that he made a mistake and he knows what happened is the coach's decision. I encouraged Steve to express his feelings and that's what he did. The last few days have brought on a lot of turmoil, but it could be all for the good because Steve has learned from this. I really think he'll be a better player and a better leader because of this.

They're the No. 1 rebounding team in the league. It's tough to compete with that.

We're not the deepest team or the most experienced team, so we've tried to implement an understanding of playing defense and rebounding the basketball. We're trying to be as tough as we can and thus far they have bought in to that. We're starting to believe that's the way we need to play in order to get some wins.

I look at Baron as the Steve Nash factor. Phoenix had all these guys, but they weren't winning. They got Steve Nash and they won. I look at Baron as that missing piece that helps us win.

It's going to be an extremely tough dual. On paper, they are a stronger team than we are. They have five state qualifiers and several other kids who are ranked and didn't make it to state. Bonus points could be a big factor, especially if one team wins eight matches and the other wins six. In that case, bonus points will be a big factor.

Like all of us, our student-athletes have to make some tough decisions, especially when finances are involved. We wish Steve could have stayed, but we certainly understand that when it comes to family, priorities change. It's unfortunate for Steve, but we wish him the very best.

We talked about it before the game, rebounding is going to be a key factor, breaking the press is going to be a key factor, we wrote all this stuff on the board - it seemed like everything I wrote on the board was big and didn't turn out positive for us.
